She also explained practical and efficient ways to handle that volume. By using our breath, aligning our life with the most important values, by identifying the stories we’re telling ourselves and changing those stories.

Emily comes from a small town in the USA and moved to the Netherlands to marry Max about a year ago. After surviving a long-distance relationship for five long years.
Throughout the struggles that the situation brought with it, she built up a lot of anger and resentment against her partner, who she also deeply loved. It was a painful experience. Her growing interest in coaching helped her develop the skills needed in order to overcome the obstacles and find happiness in her relationship and her new country.

Day 4: Build deeply connected & intimate relationships
Happy and thriving relationships can be a challenge to begin with. Add the turmoil and chaos that comes with moving internationally, and maybe even adding several cultures into a relationship/family – and the challenges multiply.
Day 4 is all about how to create and maintain the relationships in your life that you truly desire.

Marco talked about how he realised himself that he wasn’t really happy and fulfilled in his life and started working with coaches. When asked the question “Who are you”, he told his coach what he did. But then they said: “No, no. That’s what you do. WHO are you?”
This is the point where really strong and closely connected relationships start. Knowing yourself really well. We also talked about different levels of listening, showing up authentically and the courage it takes to really be authentic.
